Children

Children are a priority here at LBC. Providing a safe, fun environment for children to learn about God and the Bible is important to us. Our goal in our children's ministries is that our kids will look forward to coming to church and enjoy learning about the Lord.

Sunday School

Sunday School is for kids age 2½ through to grade 7. It takes place during the first service at 9:30 a.m, starting with an open session in the Fireside Room. (Just ask an usher if you don't know where to go).  They will have a fun time learning about God and His love. We ask that parents pick up their children promptly after the service. If you are unsure where to go, please feel free to follow your child(ren) to their class when they are dismissed, and rejoin the service once they're settled.

Awana

Awana, for children age 3 to grade 4, is our mid-week program that introduces children to Christ and builds a biblical foundation for faith through fun activities and Scripture memorization.

Thrive

Thrive is our amazing pre-teen ministry for anyone in grades 5, 6 or 7. It runs on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:00pm (the same time as Awana). It's a time for pre-teens to hang out, play some games, learn about God, and build healthy relationships.

Girlz Gathering

In addition to Thrive, girls in grades 5 - 7 are invited to get together to do just "girl stuff" on Friday evenings. Girlz Gathering is run on alternating Friday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm. It is a great opportunity for girls to hang out, do fun activities, and talk about things in their world.

Youth Group

Held each Wednesday from 7:00-9:00pm, those in grade 8-12 can come have a fun, crazy time learning about God, life and each other.

Nursery

Nursery care is available during both our Sunday services for children newborn to age 2½. Nursery workers engage the kids in play activities with focused attention being given to each child’s interests and needs. We want our nursery to provide an exciting time of play and child care where kids look forward each week to coming and participating together.
